CHARACTER CREATION

Multiversal gives players freedom in creating a character that is unique every time.  It does this by simulating reality with a heroic twist.

In Multiversal, players will choose a handful of Talents and Skills for their characters.  These Talents and Skills work together to create a strong character.

Stats

Miltiversal uses 8 Stats instead of the traditional 6.  Together they form the basic  physical and mental shape of the character.    Of them, 5 are Physical and 3 are Mental Stats.  Stats primarily grant a bonus to Skill Rolls, but they are also used to calculate important values such as Wounds, SOAK, and Perception.

The Talent System

Multiversal does not use a traditional class system, but neither is it a classless one.  Instead, it gives the player power to create their own unique class with every game.

Players achieve this control by choosing a set of Talents for their characters.  These Talents give the character an edge by making many skills cost less to learn, both initiially and as they develop.

The most important aspect of Talents is that they do not limit the players choice of Skills, but rather make those skills less expensive.  Just as in life, your old dog can learn a new trick (even if it doesn't have a Talent for it).

Skills

Skills are the most important element for the character;  What he or she can do!  Whether you want your character to be able to make a flying leap into a moving helicopter or simply draw a funny cartoon will depend on what they have spent time learning and practicing.

Just as with life, anybody can learn to draw, jog, or ride a bike, but how good you are at them depends on how much time you spend on them.  It may take 10,00 hours to master a new skill, but only a few minutes to choose one!
