Roll Perception.

As you look around, you see. . . . So this week has been spent working on artwork for the game manual, so I though I would talk a little about what the artwork will look like. First of all, the illustrations in the book are 100% original. They are drawn in an anime/manga style with soft-cell shading, and are not photo-realistic.

There will be a single large, full-color illustration at the beginning of each chapter with smaller black and white illustrations peppered throughout the book. The large illustrations are supposed to give an idea of what the whole chapter is about, whether it is of characters, equipment, or vehicles. The smaller black and white illustrations will show what something might look like in one or another setting. However, since Multiversal is an open-setting game, it will not be uncommon to see characters from different settings side by side, or items and devices from different eras of history on the same page.

Finally, unlike most game manuals where the illustrations are of specific characters or devices in the game, the illustrations in this one are intended to show the breadth of possibility. Stay tuned here, and wait to see some of the illustrations as they are finished.
